Concept Art


For this task, we had to draw some concept art for a character and a landscape for our game. I have done one drawing for the landscape, as well as two for the character, one monochromatic and one coloured.










This is my landscape drawing. It shows one of the doors the player will have to get through in order to progress through the game. This is the door for the medical bay, as shown by the sign on the door. The door itself is white, with the hallways being grey/black.



This is the monochromatic version of my character drawing. This character will be an NPC character called "Zygons". They will represent quest givers and they will have their own faction aboard the space craft and may become hostile with the player, should the player attack the faction or their interests.


This is the coloured version of the "Zygon". As you can see, the character is in entirely red and doesn't look very threatening physically. This is because this character uses "Psychic" attacks instead of melee. 

This is my weapon concept art. For this I did a few different designs for different types of weapons. From left to right I drew a Plasma Rifle, Pistol, Knife and Bolt Action Rifle. 
I have labelled the different parts of each weapon to make it easier to understand.
